Sculpted versus uniform
Sculpted sets give each row a different angle and height, so your fingers find the home row without looking. Uniform sets make every row identical, which some people prefer and which makes them easier to rearrange.
Height
Taller caps put your wrists at a steeper angle and take longer to travel. Shorter caps feel faster and give less positional feedback. Neither is correct; both are adaptations you make within a week.
Material

Thickness matters more than the plastic: a thick ABS cap sounds deeper than a thin PBT one, whatever the general rule suggests.
Legends
Doubleshot and dye-sublimated legends are part of the plastic and do not wear off. Printed legends do. This is worth checking before buying a set you intend to type on for years.
